artless was arranged in a horizontal line
around three walls of the Store 5 gallery in Melbourne.
The work consists of a series of throw-away drawings by anonymous cartoonists,
of 'paintings' isolated
from single frame cartoons. The 'painting' in each case, decorates the wall
of a cartoon interior in which a ribald joke is being enacted. |
